It's an average of $3,000 a weekend for Peter to race in the USA this year. This includes travel by air and bike transport via a van with cargo trailer - which doubles as sleeping quarters; race entry fees, consumables like fuel/tires/parts, and tuning support to keep him safe and competitive. It's a tight budget with no ammenities.
